Darrell Roberts, Senior Pastor
Here from the beginning, Darrell Roberts alongside his wife Kim has faithfully served Harvest House Church for over 35 years. Through campus ministry, evangelistic training, international missions, and pastoral guidance, Darrell and Kim have made a tangible impact in the lives of those they have mentored. Both App State graduates (class of '86), they have had the opportunity to minister in 19 different countries, aid in the planting of several churches, and be involved in evangelistic outreaches.
Darrell presently serves as the Senior Pastor of HHC and as the Executive Director of Harvest Equippers, our missions organization.
Courage Carr, Associate Pastor
In 2019, Courage and his wife Sandy left their hometown of High Point, NC to come help build up the Harvest House Church body. Courage oversees all life groups and our facilities. He embodies the values of courage, dedication, and excellence in all aspects of life. When Courage isn’t at the church, you can find him at CrossFit, where he pushes himself to new limits and inspires others to do the same. His commitment to physical fitness mirrors his dedication to spiritual growth, encouraging our community to strive for excellence in all endeavors.
Marshall Daniels, Worship Pastor
Marshall Daniels has served as the worship pastor at Harvest House Church almost 20 years, leading the congregation into meaningful worship encounters. In addition to his musical talents, Marshall is also a skilled instrument builder, specializing in handpans. His passion for creating beautiful music extends beyond the stage, as he crafts these unique instruments with precision and artistry, bringing joy to both performers and listeners alike.
Celia Marsh, Harvest Kids Director
Celia Marsh, our dedicated Harvest Kids Director, joined us in November 2023 and has been an invaluable asset to our team. She possesses a deep love for the Holy Spirit, evident in her passion for worship and her prophetic gifting. Celia's commitment to nurturing young hearts in their faith journey shines through her creative and spirit-led approach to children's ministry. Her presence has brought a refreshing and anointed perspective to our church community, inspiring both children and adults alike to draw closer to God.
Bianca Rangel, Youth Director
Bianca Rangel, once a Harvest Youth member herself, serves as the Youth Director at Harvest House Church, where she passionately leads and mentors young people in their spiritual journeys.
Her commitment to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment is evident in her dynamic approach to teaching and connecting with youth. Bianca believes in the importance of building authentic relationships and encourages open dialogue about faith, doubt, and personal growth.
Her energetic spirit and genuine heart for serving others have made a significant impact at Harvest House Church and beyond. Bianca’s mission is to empower young people to live out their faith boldly and to cultivate a lifelong relationship with God.
Laurel Hicks, Administrator
Laurel Hicks began her journey with Harvest House Church as a college student, drawn by our vibrant community and meaningful connections. As the church administrator and bookkeeper, Laurel utilizes her organizational giftings to support the mission and daily operations of Harvest House. Her commitment to service extends beyond bookkeeping; she is dedicated to fostering a welcoming environment where all members can thrive.
Outside of her administrative duties, Laurel enjoys engaging with the congregation and volunteering with New Life and Harvest Youth. Her journey from student to staff member exemplifies her dedication to Harvest House Church and its mission.
Sam McDonald, Tech Coordinator
Sam McDonald is a dedicated Music Production major at Appalachian State University, where he is honing his skills in audio engineering and music composition. Passionate about the intersection of technology and music, he brings creativity and technical expertise to his studies.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Sam serves as the Tech Coordinator at Harvest House Church. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the church's audio-visual needs, ensuring a seamless worship experience for the congregation. His commitment to excellence and attention to detail enhance the church’s events and services.
Sam’s love for music and technology drives him to explore innovative ways to elevate worship through sound. With a growing portfolio and a strong foundation in both production and live sound management, he aims to make a positive impact in the music and faith communities.
Britty Daniels, Dance Studio Director
Britty Daniels is an accomplished dancer and passionate educator. As the Director of Harvest House Dance Studio, she inspires students of all ages through a diverse curriculum that includes ballet, contemporary, jazz, and hip-hop. Britty's approach emphasizes both technical skill and creative expression, fostering a supportive environment where dancers can thrive.
Carolyn Roberts, Harvest Heart Director and Dance Studio Administrator
Carolyn Roberts is a compassionate leader and dedicated community advocate who runs Harvest Heart Ministry, our clothing bank ministry focused on providing essential baby goods to families in need. With a heart for service, Carolyn has built a network that not only distributes items but also offers support and connection to those facing challenges in parenting.
In addition to her work with Harvest Heart, Carolyn serves as the administrator for Harvest House Dance Studio. Her organizational skills and commitment to nurturing talent allow the studio to thrive while promoting creativity and joy in the arts.
Carolyn's blend of administrative expertise and heartfelt ministry reflects her deep-seated belief in the power of community support and the importance of uplifting families. Through her initiatives, she continues to make a lasting impact in the lives of many.
Becka Walton, Harvest Morning Out Director
With a passion for teaching young children about the love of Jesus, Becka is dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering their development. Under her leadership, our preschool program serves children ages 2.5 to 5 years, creating a warm and welcoming environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
In addition to her role at Harvest Morning Out, Becka is an active member of the Harvest House Church community, where she fosters connections between families and the church. She believes that a strong foundation in faith and love is essential for young children's development.
Becka resides in the area with her family and enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and engaging in community activities. Her commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families is at the heart of her mission at Harvest Morning Out.
Doug Walton, Elder
Doug Walton serves as an elder at Harvest House Church. Doug has dedicated his life to fostering spiritual growth and building strong connections among church members.
Outside of his church responsibilities, Doug enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering in local outreach programs. His approachable demeanor and genuine love for people enrich the culture of Harvest House Church. Doug is dedicated to helping others grow in their faith and encouraging them to build meaningful relationships within the church community.
George Warren, Elder
George Warren serves as an elder at Harvest House Church, where he plays a vital role in fostering spiritual growth within the community. With a deep commitment to biblical teachings and discipleship, George leads our Acts 2:42 Bible study group, focusing on the principles of fellowship, prayer, and breaking bread together.
George has a passion for mentoring individuals and empowering them to deepen their relationship with God. He encourages open discussions in his Bible study sessions, fostering an environment where participants can explore scripture, ask questions, and apply biblical truths to their daily lives.
Frank Plotts, Lead Elder
Frank Plotts serves as the Lead Elder at Harvest House Church. With a passion for spiritual growth and community service, Frank plays a pivotal role in guiding the church’s mission and fostering a welcoming environment for all. He encourages open dialogue and values the input of others, believing that a shared vision is essential for a thriving church community.
In addition to his responsibilities at Harvest House Church, Frank enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Debi. His life reflects his commitment to faith and service, inspiring others to grow in their own spiritual journeys.
