Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE?
Each weekend at Harvest House, you’ll find a friendly atmosphere with creative, contemporary worship music and a biblical, relevant message. Children are well-cared for in our loving, quality nursery and fun-filled Harvest Kids classes.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I ATTEND FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Our services begin with a dynamic time of worshiping God, and then hearing a relevant message from the bible. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy some coffee, and see if this is the church for you!
WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?
You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at Harvest House. Come as you are!
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Harvest House is located at 247 Boone Heights Drive, between Goodwill and High Country Lanes.
DO YOU HAVE A MIDWEEK SERVICE?
We do not have a midweek service, but we do have a number of life groups you can join! Our college ministry, New Life, meets on the second floor of Plemmons Student Union at ASU every Thursday night at 8:30pm.
WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?
At Harvest House, our nurseries are clean, safe, and staffed with loving trained workers. We offer Sunday School for Preschool through Elementary aged children called Harvest Kids as well as life-changing groups for students from junior high through college.
HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?
There are many ways to get involved. You can begin by attending our Growth Track. Life groups are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith. You can also check out our church calendar!
HOW CAN I BE DISCIPLED AND GROW?
Our desire is to see you become a fully-devoted follower of Christ. Our Growth Track offers the tools necessary to make this happen in your life. You can begin the process at any step in our Growth Track.
WHY DO YOU HAVE LIFE GROUPS?
Life groups are an important part of Harvest House; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our life groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop life-lasting friendships. Groups are available for all ages and interests—check out our directory!
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED IN A LIFE GROUP?
One of the easiest things to do at Harvest House is to participate in a life group. Groups meet throughout Watauga County and provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Check out our online directory and visit a group this week.
