WHO WE ARE
New Life is a Christ-centered campus ministry at Appalachian State University.
As a community of believers we set out to encounter God through worship, biblical teaching, and everyday life.
By loving each other and purposing ourselves for the success of those around us, we desire to equip students and young believers to know God and become living examples of His love to this world.
OUR VISION
New Life is committed to creating a love-charged environment where everyone is welcome, God is worshipped, and believers can grow to become who they were created to be. God has placed a burden in us to see His Kingdom come and will be done at Appalachian State University. We want people to know God, as he inhabits our praises through: everyday life, Christ-centered relationships, and every form of the creative arts.
OUR VALUES
Worship: Adoration of the Lord (John 4:23)
Community: A group of people standing on a foundation of encouragement, putting each other first, to accomplish the common purpose of becoming Christ-like (1 Thess. 5:11)
Intercession: Standing in the gap between the Lord and the situation. Crying out to the Lord and inviting Heaven to Earth (Exodus 32:11-14).
Outreach: Sharing the love of Jesus with those who haven’t encountered it (Matt. 28:19-20, Mark 16:15)
Discipleship: Modeling yourself after the Lord so that those that follow can do the same (1 Cor. 11:1).
